Avalanche: A mass of snow, ice, and rocks falling rapidly down a mountainside.
DUST STORM: A strong, turbulent wind which carries clouds of fine dust, soil, and sand over a large area.

FLOOD: An overflow of a large amount of water beyond its normal limits, especially over what is normally dry land.

SMOKE: A visible suspension of carbon or other particles in air, typically one emitted from a burning substance.

TORNADO: A mobile, destructive vortex of violently rotating winds having the appearance of a funnel-shaped cloud and advancing beneath a large storm system.

VOLCANIC ERUPTION: An act or instance of erupting.
WEATHER CONDITION: The state of the atmosphere at a particular place and time as regards heat, cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc.

PUZZLED: Unable to understand; perplexed.

SCARED: Fearful; frightened.
WORRIED: Anxious or troubled about actual or potential problems.

SIGHTING: An instance of seeing or catching sight of something, typically something unusual or rare.
THRILL: A sudden feeling of excitement and pleasure.
PREDICT: Say or estimate that (a specified thing) will happen in the future or will be a consequence of something.

CLOUDS: A visible mass of condensed watery vapour floating in the atmosphere, typically high above the general level of the ground.
EARTHQUAKE: A sudden violent shaking of the ground, typically causing great destruction, as a result of movements within the earth's crust or volcanic action.

HURRICANE: A storm with a violent wind, in particular a tropical cyclone in the Caribbean.

THUNDER: A loud rumbling or crashing noise heard after a lightning flash due to the expansion of rapidly heated air.

TSUNAMI: A long, high sea wave caused by an earthquake or other disturbance.
WAVE: A long body of water curling into an arched form and breaking on the shore.
WIND: The perceptible natural movement of the air, especially in the form of a current of air blowing from a particular direction.
RELIEVED: No longer feeling distressed or anxious; reassured.

TERRIFIED: Cause to feel extreme fear.
PRECAUTIONS: A measure taken in advance to prevent something dangerous, unpleasant, or inconvenient from happening.
STORM CHASING: The activity of travelling to locations where a tornado or other severe weather is forecast, as a hobby or in order to photograph or study it.
