INN-YARD
it was a common inn with an inner courtyard with balconies

PLAYHOUSE
it was a raised platform without a front curtain but with a permanent facade at the back

AMPHITHEATRE
a large open area surrounded by rows of seats
the 1st Amphitheatre ever was called "The Theatre"

in 1599, the famous Globe Theatre was built.
