Entry Level Assessments

In-Class Discussions

In-class discussion will occur on most days. Discussion will be included in the participation grade for the class.

Formative Assessments

Guided Notes

Teacher will provide guided notes prior to lecture. This assignment will be due the following day.

Webquest

students will work in groups of four in the computer lab.

Quickwrites

Quickwrites will be done at the end of the day throughout the unit

Graphic Organizer

Students will complete a cause and effect graphic organizer, identifying the events leading up the rise of totalitarian governments

Quiz

Multiple choice quiz covering the entire unit's content

Summative Assessments

Wiki Page

In groups, students will collaborate and create their own wiki page.
